DESCRIPTION OF THE TOURS EXCURSION WITH HIGHSPEED-BOAT EXCURSION WITH BUS SHORT EXCURSIONS WITH BOAT EXCURSIONS WITH HIGHSPEED-BOAT VENICE – high speed boat (full day excursion) A pleasant cruise (ca 2 hours and 30 minutes), on a boat with air conditioner, video, bar and a duty-free shop, takes you to Venice, one of the world’s most beautiful and most romantic towns. Upon arrival in Venice we proceed to St. Marc Square, crossing the Academia Bridge, followed by many other bridges while admiring the city’s renaissance architecture and historic buildings, each of which has its own story. Price: 69 € per person BRIJUNI - high speed boat (half day excursion) The Brijuni archipelago covers a group of 14 islands and islets of exceptional beauty, also famous for their archeological findings. Brijuni were declared a national park in 1984. The boat goes along the west Istrian coast to Veli Brijun, the largest island of the archipelago. The visit of the island is with a local guide, for about 3 hours and a half. A part of the island is visited by a small train, during ca 1 hour. The guests can see the Golf course, the safari park, and the bisantic castrum remains from Roman houses. The second part of the visit consists in the visit of the photo exposition "Tito in Brijuni", "Brijuni during the history" and an archeological museum. Price: 55 € per person EXCURSIONS BY BUS PLITVICE LAKES Plitvice lakes are considered one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world. Its sixteen lakes, connected by 92 waterfalls, cascade through the picturesque surroundings. Plitvice Lakes were declared a National Park in 1949 and since 1979 they have been on the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage. The park’s attractions also include several caves and a variety of flora and fauna. A guided tour of the park takes about two hours and a half, including both a boat ride and a walking tour. Join us on this trip to enjoy the magic beauty of the lakes and waterfalls, creating a spectacular scenery. Guide and entrance fees to the national Park included. Price: 74 € per person     ISTRATOUR (full day excursion) Istria, Croatia’s largest peninsula, will attract you not only by its coast, but also by the lovely and varied island area. See the Red, Gray and White Istria, enjoy the beauty of its green hills and numerous vineyards. Istria is also abundant in historical and cultural monuments. You will see medieval towns, encircled by ramparts, situated on picturesque hilltops offering a fascinating view of the surrounding valley, fields and mountains. A stop will be made at Pazin, a town in central Istria, for a visit to the Castle and Ethnographic Museum displaying a folkloristic heritage, weapons and ceramic items, witnessing the way of life in the region over the centuries. Price: 50 € per person POSTOJNA - LIPICA This is a trip for all those who love nature and thoroughbred horses. After a pleasant drive, we arrive to a small place Postojna. There we can see one of the best known and most beautiful caves in Europe. The caves are 22 km long and an electric train will take us through that part, after which we will walk for about 90 minutes. Afterwards we continue to Lipica, the place where the well-known Lipicaner horses have been bred for centuries. A guide will take us to the stud farm where a special program will be performed. Price: 73 € per person VILLAGE PARTY Explore the slow ticking heart of the Istrian peninsula where quaint villages seem to be locked in a time wrap. Enjoy the sights of nostalgic stone houses surrounded by a palette of wild flowers with smells of grape brandy and wine. See the locals getting on with their traditional way of life and spice it all up with a visit to the national heritage museum, dazzling scenery, local history and tradition. Imagine olive trees in the Mediterranean sunset… be a part of it just for a day… savoir it and remember it. With a bus you will come to Fažana, afterwards you will take a boat, on a fifteen minutes ride to the Veli Brijun. Price: 50 € per person CANOE / RAFTING PICNIC (full day excursion) Pleasant drive through the scenic landscapes of the Gorski Kotar region brings us to the Kupa River. The untouched nature and the ecologically protected river is the starting point of our canoe safari. An experienced canoeist awaits us there to give instructions before we start to 10-kilometer-descent down the clear green water of the river. A stop will be made for lunch of the regional specialities and refreshments. After lunch, we continue down the Kupa to complete this river adventure. Price: 64 € per person VINEYARD STROLL (half day excursion) Istria offers many pleasures for body and soul. It can only be its wine to offer both. The product of toiling wine-growers will offer us a pleasant reward for visiting places known on the wine map of Porec’s hinterland. With a glass of wine, we shall be confided the secret of this divine drop’s preparation and many other stories on the region of its production. You will drink a grappa and 3 sorts of wine.
